What are the differences between ADSS and GYTS optical cables?
ADSS vs. GYTS: ADSS is all-dielectric and self-supporting, using aramid yarn for strength, ideal for direct suspension on power poles without separate messenger wire. GYTS is a metallic-armored (steel tape) cable that is not self-supporting and requires lashing to a support strand. ADSS can span up to 500 m, while GYTS is typically limited to about 100 m.
